It was super cool how many UIC students I got to talk to during our block clean-up project in April! The two girls and I talked about so many things: gender and sexuality and marriage and theology and God and all these things. Neither were Christians so they were sharing their beliefs and they were really curious about mine and asked me so many questions! I think we may all hang out again sometime. The best part of it was getting to share the truth about all these things with them and telling them about my Father and Jesus and the Church and about how God defines our identity. They seemed eager to learn all these things, like God was calling them to himself.
