The White Cross ministry is one of a network of churches which is involved in putting the creative and practical energies of our members to work, creating items as requested by our partner ministries in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Though the pandemic limited our time together this year, our team was able to fill three 90-pound totes to ship, which was the same as the previous year. The two hundred and seventy pounds of items included 149 bandage rolls, 7 layette kits (21 kimonos and blankets), 333 surgical linens in assorted sizes, 13 bags of 4x4 fabric squares, 16 feminine hygiene kits in various sizes, 21 hygiene kits for Global Fingerprints, 9 hygiene kits to benefit HIV patients, 12 dress kits (48 precut dresses), and one large bag of beautifully decorated Scripture cards in the Lingala language.
