When we joined The Orchard two years ago, Pastor Josh strongly encouraged us to join a LIFE Group. Being a dual working household with two middle school children (at the time) with lots of activities, we weren’t sure how we could fit that into our schedule, so we held off on joining a group. One day, I had the idea to start a LIFE Group for parents of middle school and high school students to find strength in the Word as we navigate these challenging years. After receiving the okay to form this group, we launched in August 2019. While the adults meet, our children would also have fellowship time and we became quite a cohesive group. Fast forward to March 2020, when we found ourselves in a pandemic and moving to weekly Zoom meetings. During those early days of the pandemic, my husband and I looked forward to our weekly time with our group. We were being fed spiritually with our brothers and sisters in Christ while it seemed the world around us was imploding. We were nourished by the Word and we would find humor and encouragement in our time together even playing trivia games together online with our families. We have found such good friends in this group and we feel so blessed that God has provided us with this amazing group to love and support us during this extraordinary time. This is just another example of our Heavenly Father supplying us with exactly what we need when we need it. His Divine goodness provides for his children and His love endures forever.
