We want to praise God for both His healing power and the expressions of love brought forth when one of our trustees, Brian Pemble, was shot in the leg during a convenience store robbery. As he recovers at home, we are beginning to see how God is working to turn what man intended for evil into something God is using for good. The evening of the robbery, Pastor Justin was interviewed on NBC-TV Channel 7 news where he shared that The Orchard was working with other churches and organizations to support the family. The following day a Mormon couple knocked on the door to the church. They were touched by how our church was present in a time of need. They gave to our benevolence fund and even asked if they might join us for services. We sensed that hearts were moved by the testimony of love that went forth throughout the region.
