Adult Electives
While we would like to see everyone involved in a LIFE Group, we recognize that people are looking for other learning opportunities as well. Listed below are both Sunday morning and mid-week options. Contact Michelle Miramonti, 224.764.4018, with questions.
LIFE Connections

Evangelical Themes
Sundays, 8:45 am, Chapel
Evangelical Themes will kickoff its Fall session with a three week presentation and discussion of the history of Evangelicalism led by Peter Atto, a Moody graduate and Trinity Seminarian. This session will show how the evangelical movement through its leaders and tradition produced its character in current times: engaging the Gospel in our daily lives and culture. The next eight weeks will continue with the Evangelical Theme through a video series by Pastor Tim Keller which demonstrates in very practical ways how the Gospel changes your heart, your community and how we live in the world. Timothy Keller is the senior pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian Church, Manhattan and New York Times best selling author of The Reason For God. All ages are welcome.

Freed-Up Financial Living

Join us for an all-day course on financial living according to God's Word. The goal of the course is for the attendee to become grounded in a biblical understanding of a proper relationship to money and possessions and to commit to and begin developing a biblically-based Spending Plan. In addition, you will have the opportunity to formulate financial goals and plans to meet them. By the end of the class, you will have the first draft of a usable Spending Plan in your hand and the knowledge in your head to implement it. The Good $ense Ministry is committed to providing you with the principles, practical steps, and confidential individual assistance to help make that happen. Ambassadors
Do you feel motivated by the Gospel to reach out to those who don't know Christ? Do you want to share the Gospel with those around you but aren't sure how? Learn how to become a more effective Ambassador (2 Cor. 5:20) and to put those skills into practice. This course is designed to encourage and equip both those new to sharing their faith as well as the experienced evangelist. Ths year we will have two separate tracts for Ambassadors:
Ambassadors 1 - Those who are new to the ministry go through the entire curriculum in a small group format. This includes the three E's of the Ambassadors model: Equipping (learning how to effectively share the Gospel), Encouragement (support and prayer as we step out in faith), and Experience (providing opportunities throughout the year to put these skills into practice).
Ambassadors 2 - For those who have already taken Ambassadors, we will focus on putting those Ambassador skills to practice at a deeper level - through seeker small groups, initiative evangelism, and other outreach opportunities. Whether you are engaged in evangelism opportunities or looking for more, join us for an exciting year.
Meeting time and location is TBD depending on the number of people who express interest in each tract. Contact Paul Zak, 847.212.8745, if you have questions or to sign up.
