Global Missions at The Orchard
God's mission in our world is to redeem the human race by bringing each person back in to relationship with himself. This comes through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who was the sacrifice for our sins. He was also the One who demonstrated how we are to relate to a hurting and broken world. He is the hope of the world, and it is our privilege to personally reach out to people and to support those who go on our behalf to other parts of the world.
We seek to help fulfill the mission statement of The Orchard which is “to glorify God by multiplying God-centered, Christ-exalting, world-transforming believers through the Gospel in the greater Chicago area and around the world.
The Missions Ministry Team at The Orchard does its part in fulfilling the Great Commission and fulfilling the mission of The Orchard by:
- caring for supported missionaries
- raising awareness of the missions mandate
- involvement opportunities in missions
- training for ministry and
- stewardship of resources
