While we would like to see everyone involved in a LIFE Group, we recognize that people are looking for other learning opportunities as well. Listed below are both Sunday morning and mid-week options.
LIFE Connections
Meets September through May
8:30 am – Faculty Lounge
10:30 am – Faculty Lounge
LIFE Connections meets on Sunday mornings to discuss that day's sermon. The 8:30 group discusses the previous week's sermon. LIFE Connections functions like a LIFE Group, though the primary difference is that the groups all meet in the same room, offering a variety of groups (men's, women's, mixed, couples) in one setting. LIFE Connections is a great way to get connected to others at The Orchard - whether you are new or have been around for years.
40 Days of the Gospel
June 13-July 25, 2010
Spend Sunday mornings this summer with the Barrington Campus at Hersey High School for a spiritual growth campaign centered on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This journey will include seven sermons by Pastor Scott Lothery with accompanying small group questions for further discussion. A 40-day devotional booklet called The Gospel Nourished Life designed for personal reflection is also available. Take the journey as an individual or with your LIFE Group. Leading an Evangelistic Small Group
Sunday mornings, beginning in March

In order to prepare for an exciting year of outreach ministry, we are forming evangelistic small groups to proclaim the Gospel among family and friends. This four-week class will focus on helpful tips and best practices for maximizing the fruitfulness of these small groups. Included will be general training, creative ideas on how to form a group and invite participants, powerful resources (inside and outside of our church) to help you, ways to share the Gospel, and more. Bible Studies
Bible Study Fellowship - Men

A weekly Bible Study for men who desire to deepen their faith as they study and apply the Word of God. The current study is the book of John.
Community Bible Study
Tuesdays, beginning September 15, 9:15 to 11:15 am
This is a non-denominational Bible study for men, women, and children, ages newborn through 8th grade. There is a registration fee of $25 per adult and $10 per child. We will be studying the book of Acts this fall. For information or to register, contact Cindy Hubbard, 847-776-1440. Registrations are accepted throughout the summer, but spots in the children’s program are limited and filling up fast, so mothers should enroll early to save their child’s spot.
