Powerhouse

Powerhouse

Powerhouse groups are a way to further deepen friendships and relationships within the ministry in a small group context (the middle school version of a LIFE Group). Powerhouse meets in local middle school family homes during the school year on the 1st Wednesday of every month (in place of Herd). The students are divided up by gender, grade, and location. This is a great venue for students to get to know an adult leader and their peers on a more personal level and dig deeper into the Bible.  Registration information is available at the Ministry Desk and the Youth Ministry Office.

During the 2009-2010 school year, Powerhouse small groups will use gender-specific curriculum to help girls and guys think through biblical truths regarding what it means to become a “True Woman” or “Young Man of God.”

Each student needs to complete a Powerhouse Commitment Form in order to be placed in a small group. Students signed up for Powerhouse will be notified of their meeting location by their leader.

Moms with a daughter in Powerhouse - Connect with your daughter and be blessed by the Powerhouse study! Each month while your daughter is at Powerhouse studying Becoming a True Woman While I Still Have a Curfew, join other moms in walking through the same material. This will be a discussion time where you will be equipped to better engage your daughter in conversation regarding these wonderful truths of Scripture. Beginning November 4, Powerhouse moms will meet in the Social Room from 7:15 pm to 8:45 pm. Contact Georgette Steiger for more details and to sign up.
