Dare 2 Share Blaze Conference - March 19-20

This will be a weekend where our students will become further equipped in sharing the Gospel with their peers. Through practical Bible messages and various worship experiences, students will be challenged to bring the news of Christ to others around them. It will surely be a transforming weekend with thousands of other students. The 2-day conference takes place at the Sears Center in Hoffman Estates and will include a lock-in at the Arlington Heights Campus on Friday, March 19 for all of The Orchard middle school students who attend. For more information, visit the Dare2Share website.

The cost for this event is $65 (includes conference, transportation from the church, Sat. breakfast and dinner). We will meet at church on Friday at 5pm (eat dinner before you come). Plan to get picked up Saturday evening at 10pm. You will need to bring a small overnight bag, sleeping bag and pillow, your Bible, and money for lunch on Saturday. Questions? Contact Bing.

To join us, contact Sarah at 224-764-4025.

EFCA Challenge Conference - June 28–July 4

The Challenge Conference is a five-day vibrant experience for 7th-12th grade students, held in Columbus, Ohio, that will both challenge and equip them to join God and His work in the world. Through Bible teaching on the Beatitudes, times of worship, prayer, training and ministry outreach projects, Challenge will seek to help students grasp more of what it means to be a Christ-follower. Students will gain a grander vision for the Gospel, locally and abroad, while furthering friendships with one another.

Our group will be traveling on two Son Tours possum buses to and from the conference. We will depart from The Orchard the morning of Monday, June 28 and return Sunday, July 4 just after the 2nd worship service. We will stay 4 nights at a hotel in Columbus, OH, one night at Parkside Church, and the final night on the buses. July 3 will be spent at Cedar Point.

There are three REQUIRED student meetings for those who plan to attend the conference: June 16 from 7-9pm (parent mtg. from 7-7:30), June 19 from 9am-12pm, and June 23 from 7-9pm.

The cost for the trip is $400. A non-refundable deposit of $100 is due with registration by April 11. There is a $25 late fee after the 11th. The final balance of $300 is due by May 9 (login online again before the 9th to make your final payment). NO registrations will be accepted after the 9th!

There are creative financing options and some limited scholarships available. Talk to Pastor Bing to apply or work out a plan BEFORE registering online.

To sign up for the conference, register ONLINE NOW!! Contact Sarah with questions regarding registration at 224-764-4025.
