Gypsy Trip Spring Break Retreat – March 20-27
128 Students count down to this awesome trip all year long… and it’s almost here! We call this trip a gypsy trip, because we do the “gypsy thing.” We travel on the beautifully equipped Son Tours possum buses to multiple beaches and theme parks throughout the week. There will be plenty of beach time, serving time, volleyball time, body surfing time, singing time, discussion time, teaching time and even quiet times! And the best part is it’s all time spent building relationships with your Christian friends and our dedicated staff. Our “gypsies” will have fun and, most importantly, will grow in their faith as we dig deep into God’s Word. We hope you can come! For more details check out the trip brochure!
Ready to sign up? Girls’ spots are filled, but guys can email Sarah or call 224-764-4025 to register!!

EFCA Challenge Conference - June 28–July 4
The Challenge Conference is a five-day vibrant experience for 7th-12th grade students, held in Columbus, Ohio, that will both challenge and equip them to join God and His work in the world. Through Bible teaching on the Beatitudes, times of worship, prayer, training and ministry outreach projects, Challenge will seek to help students grasp more of what it means to be a Christ-follower. Students will gain a grander vision for the Gospel, locally and abroad, while furthering friendships with one another.
Our group will be traveling on two Son Tours possum buses to and from the conference. We will depart from The Orchard the morning of Monday, June 28 and return Sunday, July 4 just after the 2nd worship service. We will stay 4 nights at a hotel in Columbus, OH, one night at Parkside Church, and the final night on the buses. July 3 will be spent at Cedar Point.
There are three REQUIRED student meetings for those who plan to attend the conference: June 16 from 7-9pm (parent mtg. from 7-7:30), June 19 from 9am-12pm, and June 23 from 7-9pm.
The cost for the trip is $400. A non-refundable deposit of $100 is due with registration by April 11. There is a $25 late fee after the 11th. The final balance of $300 is due by May 9 (login online again before the 9th to make your final payment). NO registrations will be accepted after the 9th!
There are creative financing options and some limited scholarships available. Talk to Pastor Tom to apply or work out a plan BEFORE registering online.
