Word: Jesus said that man lives by “every word that comes from the mouth of God” (Matt 4:4). If God’s Word gives life, then the Word of God is vital to Christian living. At The Orchard, God’s Word is given central place so that students can put down deep roots and be nourished by the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Church
: The Word of God creates His Church—we are “those whom God has called” (1 Cor 1:23). But faithfulness to God is difficult in a sinful world, and so we need the encouragement, gifts, and accountability of the Church to help us. The Orchard is a community of Christians where students can develop relationships that help them remain faithful to God’s Word.

Witness
: If God’s Word is living and active, then the Church should be, too. We should be busy “holding out the Word of life” (Phil 2:16). At The Orchard, we are passionate about equipping students to spread the Word of God in our community and around the world.

The Bigger PictureThe Bigger Picture
: Though the universe was created as the “theatre of God’s glory,” when seen through culture’s viewfinder, the world appears blurry and distorted. The Christian’s calling to witness to the truth means finding the “sparks of His glory” visible in culture, as well as locating those places where culture has been “struck blind in such a dazzling theatre.” Come join us as we view film and culture through the spectacles of Scripture.
