Health-Related Policy

Letter to Parents and Volunteers from Kristin Catapano - November 4, 2009

For the health of all children and their families, please observe the following guideline regarding illness.
Any child entering the nurseries or classroom must be free from any of the following symptoms:
Fever, cold/flu, yellow or green discharge from nose, persistent cough, diarrhea, vomiting, discharge from the eyes (Pink Eye or Conjunctivitis), rash, skin irritation or eruption, or any contagious disease such as Chicken Pox, etc.
Please do not put our volunteers in the position of having to ask you to take your child out of the nursery or classroom.

All child care is overseen by a Nursery Coordinator, Team Leader, or Director to ensure that proper safety and supervision standards are met.
