Faith for Life
Thursdays at 1 pm

Faith for Life is an enthusiastic midweek gathering of retirees who recognize the basic Christian need for fellowship and Bible teaching. While the study of the Word of God is primary, other regular features include uplifting singing, refreshments and occasional trivia.

Faith for Life Activities & Travel
If you would like to participate in service activities or trips Faith for Life Activities and Travel is for you! This senior group plans several events each year. For more information, contact Barbara Persenaire, 847-259-2740.
Watch for information about other upcoming events, including:
- January 24: Timothy’s Ministry Luncheon – Provide and prepare lunch for homeless friends from Chicago.
- February 5: Moody Founders Week – Concert and program. An evening of music by the Moody full choir, ensembles, and orchestra.
- March 23: Opera in Focus – “The Phantom of the Opera” (Andrew Lloyd Weber) and “IL Travatore” (Verdi)
- Mar. 26/27: Easter Concerts
- May: The Pacific Gardens Mission – Tour of the facility, live broadcast of “Unshackled,” supper, and evening sing/service.
- June: White Fence Farm – Lunch and performance of God Bless America. A patriotic, moving musical history of our country.
- July/August: Four-day trip including the Creation Museum in Cincinnati, OH.
Saturday Breakfast Fellowship
First Saturday of every month at 8 am (October – December)
Old Country Buffet in Town & Country Mall
Our first breakfast of 2010 will be February 6! Jooin us for great fellowship with an emphasis on missions and a full buffet for just $5. No payment in advance, but please let us know you are coming by signing up at the Seniors Ministry Desk, at Faith For Life or by calling Stan and Ginny Hedrick, 847-398-0394. The April breakfast will be held on the 10th.
Christmas Luncheon - December 12
Each year scores of dedicated volunteers, young and old, welcome 300+ seniors (most are guests to our church) for the Christmas Concert luncheon. Invite a friend to join you. Reservations may be made beginning November 12 by calling Michelle Miramonti, 224-764-4018.

Second Monday of each month, beginning January 11, 9 am - Buffalo Restaurant (corner of Arlington Heights Rd and Lake Cook Rd)
