Anchor (Adults 22-35)

Anchor

The goal is to provide monthly large group social events for those 22-35 years old.  Our hope is that relationships will be established and deepened in ways that otherwise wouldn’t happen at The Orchard.  These events are meant to supplement the ministry of the Word on Sunday morning and LIFE Groups that meet weekly.  There will be events just for fun like picnics and bowling, as well as service projects, worship nights, film discussions, retreats, and much more.

The best way to get involved at The Orchard and meet others in their 20s and 30s is to join a LIFE Group. View the complete list of groups and register online. Not sure which group is best for you? Contact Claire Bechard, 224-764-4083.

Service Night

TBD
Fellowship Hall

Anchor and the Christian Advocacy Group are teaming up for a service night.

The Christian Advocacy Group usually meets the last Sunday of every month to pray and write letters on behalf of the persecuted church and those suffering human rights abuses around the world.  They will be putting on a special presentation for Anchor including an introduction into what they do, a short video highlighting the persecuted church around the world and then directions for our own letter writing time.  No special knowledge or expertise is required.  The only thing needed is a concern for those who suffer and desire to see the Gospel spread to all the ends of the earth.

Please prayerfully consider coming to this special event.  It will be a wonderful time of deeper fellowship with Anchor members and a meaningful opportunity to encourage those persecuted for their belief in and preaching of the Gospel around the world.

Refreshments will be served.

Remember those in prison as if you were their fellow prisoners, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering. Hebrews 13:3
