Plan to participate in the Harvest Chicago event on September 24-26. Get involved by praying for family, friends, co-workers and neighbors who you want to see come into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and inviting and bringing them to the event.
Dave and Debbie Wardle will be giving another presentation on their recent mission trip to South and Southeast Asia on Friday, August 13, 7 pm, in the Chapel. They will be sharing stories of what God is doing in this part of the world and a “side” of Christianity that we need to know about.
For the weekend of July 31 and August 1, Ted Olsen will preach in the sanctuary, Kevin Meek will preach at Barrington (Hersey HS), and Bing Nieh will preach in the gym on Saturday and Sunday.
Sympathy to Caroline (Ken) Shoberg and Lisajoy Yoshimura on the death of their sister and aunt, Joyce Seelye, who passed away last week. There will be a memorial service for Joyce and her husband Ted (who passed away two weeks ago) on August 7, 3 pm, College Church in Wheaton.
